Description

A Series, 200W CI D2 Explosion proof LED fixture, 27,000 Lumen, 5000K, 100 - 277V, replace a 750W - 1,000W HID fixture.
A Series Explosion proof 200 Watt LED fixtures are designed for installations where moisture, dirt, dust, corrosion and vibration may be present, or areas where wind, water, snow or high ambient temperatures can be expected.
These Hazardous location LED lighting fixtures are designed to be used in locations made hazardous by the presence of flammable vapors or gases or combustible dusts as defined by the NEC and IEC.
Class I, Division 2
:
One of the following three situations must exist in order for an area to be considered a Class I, Division 2 location:
1.
Volatile flammable liquids or flammable gases are handled, processed or used,but the hazardous liquids, vapors or gases will normally be confined with enclosed containers or closed systems from which they can escape only in the event of accidental rupture or breakdown of such containers or systems, or as a result of abnormal operation of equipment.
2.
Ignitable concentrations of gases or vapors are normally prevented by positive mechanical ventilation, and which might become hazardous through failure or abnormal operations of the ventilating equipment.
3.
Adjacent to a Class I, Division 1 location, and to which ignitable concentrations of gases or vapors might occasionally be communicated unless such communication is prevented by adequate positive-pressure ventilation from a source of clean air, and effective safeguards against ventilation failure are provided.
