Description

C Series 150 Watt, C1 D1 is a completely Explosion proof LED fixture, it is certified to be used in extreme locations, for example;
Class I locations are defined as having flammable gases or vapors are, or may be present in the air in quantities sufficient to produce explosive or ignitable conditions.
Class I locations are further subdivided into two Divisions and three Zones.
Class I, Division 1:
There are three different situations that could exist to classify an area as a Class I, Division 1 location:
1.
Ignitable concentrations of flammable gases or vapors may exist under normal operating conditions.
2.
Ignitable concentrations of such gases or vapors may exist frequently because of repair or maintenance operations or because of leakage.
3.
Breakdown or faulty operation of equipment or processes might release ignitable concentrations of flammable gases or vapors, and might also cause simultaneous failure of electric equipment.
It easily replaces a 600 - 750W HID fixture.
C Series Explosion proof LED fixture is designed for installations where moisture, dirt, dust, corrosion and vibration may be present, or areas where wind, water, snow or high ambient temperatures can be expected, or where gas concentrations could be highly explosive.
The Hazardous Location lighting fixture is designed to be used in locations made
hazardous
by the presence of flammable vapors or gases or combustible dusts as defined by the NEC and IEC.
